How do I get to the Griébal Scout Centre from L´Aínsa?
There are various ways you can get to the Scout Centre:
– By foot, which takes around 2 hours (8 Km.)
– Requesting being picked up by the Centre’s vehicle, which has a capacity of 8 people. The cost is of €12 per trip. You must notify us in advance.
Do I need a vehicle during my stay in Griébal?
Generally, groups need to move from the Centre to carry out their different programmed activities or simply to get food. The 8-seater Scout Centre van leaves from Griébal every day. The cost of the trip is €12 and you can load everything you need for your stay in Griébal.
What activities do we offer?
The Griébal Scout Centre offers a series of activities thanks to the agreements established with companies in the area.
– Canyon descent (transport included)
– Adventure circuits
– Calm water canoe trips
– Mountain bike rides
– Rafting
– Bus transport
What is a service?
Services are the different volunteer jobs that can be carried out in the Scout Centre. They include tasks of reconstruction, gardening, maintenance, …
Can kids carry out services?
Everyone that visits the Scout Centre can do voluntary work to contribute to the reconstruction. We will adapt the jobs to everyone’s ages.
Should instructors participate in activities and services?
The presence of the instructors is very important during the development of the different activities and services that are offered. They will have to help the members of Staff in charge of coordinating the activities.
When and how can I sign up for activities?
It is advised that you contact the Scout Centre organization prior to your arrival to register for the different activities that are offered. If you want to register before 1st July you can contact us at griebal@scoutsdearagon.org or 976 27 55 45

If you decide to carry out an activity when already in Griébal, you must contact the Centre Coordinator
Can Fire be lit?
It is completely forbidden to light a fire in the Scout Centre due to the risks it carries. This includes barbecues.
Alcohol and tobacco?
Griébal is a Youth Centre, so the consumption of alcohol is completely prohibited.
Smoking in Griébal is very dangerous, therefore it is only allowed in authorized areas.
Health and insurance?
Griébal has an accident insurance for all incidents that may arise within the boundaries of the Scout Centre during the performance of scheduled activities.
What material do I need during my stay in Griébal?
Visitors rent camping areas so you must bring all the materials you would need in any camping site. In order have water in your camping area, it is convenient to bring some small water tanks.
How and when can we pay to carry out the activities?
Payments for the rental of the camping areas and the different activities that you want to perform should be done to the account in advance, before your arrival at the Scout Centre. It is very important that you always indicate the name of the group visiting the Centre in the payment reference, for reservations, final payments or multi-adventure activities.
What are my obligations in the Scout Centre?
The most important obligation we all have is to have fun, but also, to facilitate coexistence, groups must help to maintain the hygiene of the Centre. On the first day of your stay in the Scout Centre you will be given a list of the days on which you must perform the different cleaning tasks.
